House Full Movie Review
Housefull Movie produced by Sajid Nadiawala & directed by Sajid Khan is a full of comedy which revolves around the life of Arush (Akshay Kumar) who is a man of bad-luck and works as the so called “looser” in a popular casino in Bankok. Someone told if he gets married his bad luck will vanish, so Akshay proposes Pooja (Malaika Arora) who turns him down. Having broken down Arush decides to go to London to stay with his dear friend Bob (Ritesh Deshmukh), who also works in a casino along with his beautiful wife Heetal (Lara Dutta). They decide to cheer up Arush & makes him meet Devika (Jiah Khan) , their boss’s daughter. Bob’s boss who cherishes the fact that Arush is a traditional indian gets her married to Devika.. On their arrival to Italy to celebrate their honeymoon, Arush learns that Devika has an affair with an another man & Devika had married Arush only for her Dad’s fortune. Arush being shattered once again decides to commit suicide only to be saved by Sandy (Deepika Padukone) who immediately falls in love with him. Having known about Arush’s past Sandy agrees to marry him. Sandy asks Heetal to tell her dad, Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) that she has a kid to solve the misunderstaning between them. Batuk melts at heart and agrees to come & so does Krishna Rao (Arjun Rampal), Sandy’s brother. This invites trouble as both the girls have told that their men are quite wealthy to the dad and brother respectively. Thus follows the hiring of a big villa and the swapping of personals. Then the story ends up telling how the problem settles down.
Sajid Khan makes a wise decision by using the same combo of Ajshay & Ritesh, who took their accolades for ‘Heyy Baby’. The Shankar,Ehsaan,Loy combo also do justice by delivering some foot-tapping music along with the flow of the plot. Sajid Khan delivers a respectable comedy flick though its second half has a close relation with the Kamal Hassan starrer ‘Kadhala Kadhala’(Tamil), making minor changes to suit the bollywood style. Boman Irani once again does a class potrayal of a stern dad. Arjun Rampal does his part brilliantly.
